Burs & Garrett Physical Therapy, Inc. has been in business since 1989.  Burs and Garrett is located in Charles Village, five minutes from downtown Baltimore. Our suite is located in the Bank of America building which is easily accessible by public transportation and is surrounded with adequate parking. There are two principals:

Vernise Burs, PT, CSCI is a 1982 graduate of Howard University in Washington, D.C. with a BS degree in Physical Therapy. She is a certified strength & conditioning instructor  and a Wellness Screening Specialist. Her  clinical interests are women's health issues, wellness interventions, osteoporosis and treatment for the elderly. She has been awarded citations for outstanding service from the Mayor of Baltimore and the Governor of Maryland.


William B. Garrett PT, CWCE graduated from the University of Maryland, Eastern Shore, in 1987 with a BS degree in Physical Therapy. He has specialized training in orthopedics, ergonomics work- site assessments and functional capacity evaluations. He is also an advocate for Healthcare Providers and the Patient Bill of Rights.
